Magic Quilts

Huge props to Rosie's Calico Cupboard and the very special ladies who have been making quilts for Camp Reach for the Sky over the past 14 years!  Many of the quilters were too shy to get into the photo shown above.

As all of you know, each year Rosie's customers, friends, staff, long arm quilters from all over the U.S. come together to make quilts for CR4TS. Approximately 350 quilts are distributed each year.  Each September they hold a volunteer appreciation lunch and invite our camp volunteers to come and share stories about the camp year.  Many stories were shared this past Sunday particularly about construction themed quilts : )  After the stories, we were also treated to a sneak preview of the 2013 quilts.  They just keep getting bigger and better! And to top the afternoon off, we all had some of Victor's famous BBQ!

Awesome ham...

These special ladies pour so much time and care into making these quilts for our camp.  Most of these special ladies do not get to see our campers faces light up when they go through the lines to select their quilts.  A very special thank you to those CR4TS volunteers that came out and shared their stories.

Thank you Rosie and thank you CR4TS Quilting Ladies for continuing to make a difference in the lives of our campers...
