November 2012 is no shave November. During the month of November, DO NOT SHAVE. To document your growth journey, snap a photo and send it to me at the end of the month of November (middle of December is going to be too late). If your name is Tuna, Bronson, Dan V, or Hoss, then I know you can grow a full beard in one afternoon, so you have no excuse for this camp related activity. Ladies, please get your significant others involved in this activity and collect a photo for us. *To qualify for exemption from the sole stache clause, your beard must be out of control (i.e. Kenny Loggins, Brian Wilson, ZZ Top, some of the photos shown above).
The third annual No Shave November in honor of Camp Reach for the Sky, Camp Reach for the Stars, SOMBFAB and other pediatric cancer programs that we love and support launches on November 1st, 2012!!!

We are writing to you today about a tremendously fun activity to raise awareness for cancer initiatives.
Year THREE of our annual No Shave November, starts on November 1st, 2012!!!
Last year in the month of November, a dedicated select few men (and Vicks) associated with the program Camp Reach for the Sky, chose to stop shaving for a month in honor of raising pediatric cancer awareness. At the end of the month, photos were compiled (shown above) and we were featured in a division wide article and a national article through the Camp Center of Excellence documenting our volunteer dedication to our programs.
We want more involvement this year!!! Camp counselors, husbands, brothers, boyfriends, fathers, sons, campers, parents, we are talking to you.

Once all photos are compiled, we will then be featured in an article in the month of January, talking about our involvement in Camp Reach for the Sky and our continued dedication to specifically raise awareness about the pediatric cancer programs we know and love. If we can get everyone on this list involved, I know that it could become another nationwide Camp Center of Excellence/ACS story.
There is no fund raising aspect to No Shave November. This is merely an activity to show your love and support. For your convenience, we have made No Shave November during the same month as the more popular "Movember" movement raising awareness for mens health. So, really guys you have no excuse as to why you are rocking a mustache. Who is with me?
