Make Strides THIS SUNDAY

As you may or may not know, this sunday is the 15th annual San Diego Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk! At 7 am, over 20,000 people will gather for the 4-mile walk through Balboa Park to fight breast cancer and raise money for the American Cancer Society. Aside from walking in the walk, we have a special opportunity for anyone in the camp community who wants to get involved, help out, and earn community service hours!

The American Cancer Society "Mission Delivery" tent will be manned by Yoda, and is looking for vounteers to help spread information, recruit volunteers, and answer any questions about our mission delivery programs, including Camp Reach for the Sky! Volunteer hours are 6 am - noon (approximately) in Balboa Park. We are trying to get the CR4TS Family involved as much as possible in the camp off-season, and this is a great example! So come on down, have fun, and help a great cause! It's not like the Chargers are playing Sunday anyway (and if they were, would you really want to watch them after last night?)

If you are interested in helping out THIS SUNDAY, please contact Yoda as soon as possible at robby.medina@cancer.ORG or at 619.682.7457. We hope to see you there!
