September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and
we are honoring our campers, counselors, families and supporters through
numerous efforts all month. The
impact of childhood cancer means a tremendous amount to each one of us. We hope
that you will start, and in most cases, continue, to educate your communities
on why quality of life programs like Seany’s Camp Reach for the Sky make such a
positive difference in our lives.
You can help by sharing this on your social networks and
asking that your friends and family join you in raising awareness for childhood
cancer and resources like The Seany Foundation. They can help make
contributions to continue the free programs we currently offer and expand in to
other areas of need for our kids and families. Please consider a Facebook,
LinkedIn or Twitter update to help spread the word! You can use our sample
posts or create your own and tell your friends and family why you are committed
to Seany’s Camp Reach for the Sky!
As the culmination of our childhood cancer awareness
efforts, we will be hosting our* 8th Annual Everything Is PossibleCelebration Gala on September 26, 2015 from 6pm – 10pm at the Del Mar Country
Club. We will celebrate the wonderful work our supporters have done this year
for the kids and families of Seany’s Camp Reach for the Sky. It will be an
unforgettable evening of cocktails, cuisine, silent and live auctions, and
exciting entertainment—all for the purpose of raising funds and awareness for
kids, teens, and young adults affected by cancer. If you have friends, family
or companies that would like to get more involved in supporting or sponsoring,
please don’t hesitate to contact us, as we would love to bring them in to the
camp family. We hope to see you there.
